Job Description: The IS Project Manager is responsible for overall planning, coordination, execution, delivery and completion of all projects on time and within budget. This role will work specifically on delivery of technology related projects for the Finance organization.
Essential duties & responsibilities: (detailed description)
Lead the project ensuring delivery on-time, within scope and within budget
Manage change requests. Assess impact to scope, schedule and cost; and communicate with key stakeholders
Develop a detailed project plan defining project tasks and resource requirements
Liaise with resource managers to ensure resources are available to support the timelines within the project schedule
Monitor and report on project status to all stakeholders; escalate issues as required
Needs to have an understanding of all processes involved and have the ability to confidently challenge others at a level of informed understanding
Ability to guide change and influence decision making
Maintain a risk register to actively manage items that may impact project cost, quality, scope or schedule
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Review and approve time cards associated with your project
Create Capital Expenditure Request, monitor and report on project financials
Submit at minimum one status report per month
Liaise with the VMO on vendor quality, experience and cost
Partner with the project team to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, standards, procedures, and associated documentation including but not limited to computer systems validation, SOX, and PM standards Education & special trainings:
Bachelor’s Degree required
PMP Certification (preferred)
Qualifications & experience:
Minimum 5 years of professional experience is required
Proven record of managing successful projects
Experience managing remote project teams desired
Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Project preferred
Finance background and experience recommended Physical & mental requirements:

Ability to understand, analyze and report on financial data
