Job Description/ Requirements:
The IIB Developer must have solid experience in IIB/ESB platforms. They must have demonstrated experience working in multi-disciplinary design teams, Agile and/or XP development environments and have the capability to design and develop artifacts for the IIB/ESB platform. They should have experience in connectivity and utilization of various platforms and transformation capabilities of the IIB/ESB. The IIB Developer will leverage their deep experience in software engineering to ensure that deliverables meet ongoing performance and maintenance requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Design and develop interfaces and services for consumption and publishing for the landscape via ESB.
Develop Critical frameworks and perform proof-of-concepts in the integration platform
Work within an Agile development environment
Influence expert judgement and technical savviness when designing solutions
Responsible for integrating existing applications, web services, databases, and business process management systems in order to build advanced Enterprise Service Bus solutions
At least 5-7 years of design and development in creating and testing Message flows using IIB.
1. Implement SOA solutions across Landscape applications using ESB and Middleware tools & technologies such as IBM IIB/WMB/ESQL
2. Knowledge of integration patterns, message models and the role of message broker in integration.
3. Ability to work in a 24/7 environment providing support to mission critical ESB issues.
4. Excellent knowledge of Java, ESQL(Extended Structured Query Language), configurable services and broker configuration and In-depth knowledge of standards/technologies that enables messaging including XML, JSON, WSDL, SOAP, HTTP and SSL.
5. Excellent knowledge of Unix/Shell Scripting and job scheduling procedures.
6. Knowledge and expertise in writing complex queries and stored procedures.
7. Sound knowledge on MQ protocol, MQ clustering, MQ security, pub sub.
8. Knowledge on API services development and management, expose IIB services using API gateway.
9. Knowledge of testing tools such as SOAPUI, Rfhutil, Postman, LoadUI etc.
10. Experience using monitoring tools such as QPASA, Omegamon, Appdynamics
11. Experience working in an Agile environment with multiple changing priorities
12. Good team player and go-getter attitude is necessary for this position
