Job Description :
ROLE: IBM Websphere Portal administrator
Location: Austin, TX


REQUIRED SKILLS:
Admin should have hands on experience on below products on Linux/ Unix flavor.

a) IBM WebSphere application server, IBM WebSphere Portal, IBM Http server, Nginx, WebSphere extreme scale experience at expertise level.

b) Installation and configuration/ migration experience ( preferred ) for the above products in Linux/ Unix flavor.

c) Continuous build and deployment tool configuration, understanding eg Jenkins, Hudson, Puppet etc.

d) GIT/ SVN knowledge

e) Linux/ Unix environment experience and Oracle DB basic knowledge.

f) Ansible, ANT, jython, Python scripting understanding.

g) In-depth knowledge of SSL certificates implementations.

h) Worked in a large Production environment is preferred ( Dev/ QA/ Prod

i) Working with multiple production support teams for troubleshooting and coordinating major releases in past.

j) Excellent communication skills as the nature of the requirement will be client facing.

k) Experience on working with 3rd party vendors eg. IBM on problem management requests etc.

l) In-depth knowledge of Apache /IBM HTTP server/ WAS architecture and middleware 3 tier architecture implementations in a production environment.
