IBM WebSphere Commerce Technical Architect (Specialized in CMC)

This will largely be remote with frequent travel
This is a fulltime role and can be based out of any location in the US within 45-minutes of a major airport or work.
Applicants can live anywhere as long as they are willing to travel within U.S as required
Work will be conducted both remotely as well as at client locations.
*All travel related expenses including weekly flights, weekly hotels, meals, rental car, cell phone, etc


Job Overview:
This Technical Architect role is for an expert in the Commerce Management Center (CMC) business tooling and Store Management to help define and deploy the distributed access model for both business users and dealers. This role requires experience with the Organization Admin model and deep understanding of CMC Store Management tool. Travel is expected up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the customer''s operations and technology leadership on the future analytic goals of the organization, and design a technical architecture to meet those goals.
Plan and design and implement a distributed access model of esites and user security.
Provide training and user enablement on CMC for the areas of Store Management tool.

Qualifications:
Must demonstrate expertise in Commerce Management Center (CMC) business tooling and Store Management
Minimum 10 years of programming experience with IBM WebSphere Commerce
Experience with WCS Version 7
At least 5 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks.
Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point.
Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
Skilled in building relationships with clients and in practice development activities.
Demonstrated success in performing work and managing complex and/or large consulting projects.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Must be open to travel.
