Job Description :
Design, develop, and implement multi-tier commerce applications to support business requirements.
Lead mid-level planning exercises with developers. Anticipate issues and risks at the module level and escalate appropriately.
Facilitate and drive workshops and client meetings in order to help translate business requirements into system design.
Create and review designs and identify reusability, performance problems and best practices for Commerce, Services and Java.
Support the full SDLC of storefront pages, store data, store business logic, customization of Web Sphere Commerce tools, integration with back-end systems.
Lead Java design and development efforts to implement solutions based on business requirements.
Mentor junior developers.
Work with IT Dev. Management towards lowering Software Maintenance costs.
Provide 3rd tier support for production systems.
Bachelor’s degree in computer Science, Engineering or a related area of study.
8 years of experience in Java development and design skills for large IT systems.
5+ years of expertise in WebSphere Commerce version 6.x or 7.x
Extensive experience with Commerce, JEE, Websphere server, XML, J2SE, Design patterns and algorithms
Experience with source control/versioning tools like GIT, SVN or CVS
Experience in any MVC framework (struts/spring)
Experience in working on different business models of commerce (B2B, B2C, Extended sites)
End-to-end experience in software development life-cycle and familiar with agile methodologies
Telecom experience is a big plus.
