Position : IBM Sterling B2B Integration Onsite lead

Duration : 6+ months contract
Job Description:
This person will support migration of EDI transaction maps in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator away from Mainframe-based GENTRAN.
The EDI developer will work with both internal and external customers to deliver quality EDI integrations that are efficient, scalable and maintainable.
This includes interpreting, clarifying and coding to specifications as well as testing and maintaining implementations.
The developer will be working with a team that is developing and deploying EDI solutions for critical business areas.
Qualifications & Skills:
3+ years’ experience in code development, scripting, workflow, data mapping
Must be familiar with X12 and EDIFACT EDI standards
Experience mapping on IBM Sterling B2B Integrator required
Experience with EDI Mapping for SAP IDoc highly desirable
Knowledge of software design and testing methodologies
Willing to learn new technologies
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, customer support environment and with all levels of the organization
On call availability (24x7) for system support
Experience with Mainframe platforms is desired
Experience with automotive, manufacturing or distribution companies a plus
