IBM Rational Tools Administrator
Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: 12 months
Engagement Description:
Resource will be working as a technical tool administrator with heavy focus on IBM Rational Tools. The responsibilities of this position includes software support, installation, configuration, integration, customization and management including, but not limited to Rational ClearQuest (CQ), Rational Insight, Rational Quality Manager (RQM), Rational Team Concert (RTC), Rational Performance Tester (RPT), Rational Functional Tester (RFT), Rational Publishing Engine (RPE) and Rational Requirements Composer (RRC) / DOORS.
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience (3 years):
- 3 years experience as the systems administrator of various IBM Rational Tools including installation, configuration, integration and customization
- Recent experience with Rational Collaborative Lifecycle Management suite (RRC, RTC and RQM) supporting waterfall and agile project development and testing
- Rational tool user support for issue resolution, training/mentoring and best practices
Required Skills/Experience:
- Excellent communication skills ¿ written and verbal with the ability to present to small groups for the purpose of training, project on-boarding, giving demos.
- Systems Administration Experience in one or more Rational Tools
- Knowledge of agile methodology
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- CloudOne experience in tool on-boarding, license management and transition activities
- Experience using RTC and Jira for Agile project development
- Knowledge and/or experience in Networking
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor degree required in a related field such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
