Job Description :
Job Summary: The Performance Tester will work side by side with business partners/ developers to ensure expected quality is met. He/ She should be able to monitor performance using IBM RPT. He/ She should be proficient in IBM RPT (Rational Performance Tester) Version 7.5 and higher.
Responsibilities and Duties
Performance Test scripting, execution.
Creation of performance test reports, analyzing root causes of performance issues based on reported data.
Performance monitoring experience on tools similar to ITCAM, Splunk, New Relic etc.
Hands on experience in generating custom templates for performance test reports.
RPT Test script creation and enhancements
Modifying existing RPT scripts
RPT Performance test simulations (load, endurance, stress tests etc
Bulk test data generation and maintenance with RPT data pools
RPT test result analysis.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Master''s Degree/ Bachelor''s Degree with relevant years of experience.
6+ years of relevant QA technical experience coupled with performance testing using tools like RPT, LoadRunner.
4+ years of IBM RPT (Rational Performance Tester) Version 7.5 and higher.
Should have experience with performance test scripts, performance test execution reports.
Experience with RPT test script creation and enhancements, modifying existing RPT scripts, RPT performance test simulations, RPT test result analysis, data generation and maintenance with RPT data pools.
