JOB TITLE: Senior IBM Identity Management Specialist
LOCATION: NYC 2 Metrotech, Brooklyn, NY
DURATION: 6 months probable extension

Job Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to design, installation, software development, application administration, of a large ISIM infrastructure from 5.1 to a newer improved version (including sub components and custom applications

The candidate will be involved in data design, environment / infrastructure design for several environments all the way to a large production environment and migration from the old environment to the new one. This position may also participate in activities such as installing, deploying, configuring, programming, testing, and documentation.

Mandatory Requirements: Basic Qualifications –

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
2. At least 10 years hands on Information Technology experience, including experience in security systems, software development, software administration, and/or database administration

3. Experience in at least one of the following; (10 years demonstrated and recent)
IBM Tivoli Security Identity Manager ISIM: 5.1, 6 and 8 (10 years demonstrated and recent)
IBM Tivoli Directory (10 years demonstrated and recent)
IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator (TDI) (10 years demonstrated and recent), development of advanced assembly lines and java extensions
IBM DB2 (10 years demonstrated and recent)
IBM Security Identity manager java apis and web services interfaces (hands on development development of custom apps
Experience around the majority of the following technologies:
Java, C/C++, J2EE, JSP, Servlet, EJB, Web Services, WS-Security, SAML, HTML, XML, JavaScript, XSLT, REST, SOAP, Ikeyman, LDAP
Demonstrated knowledge of one or more of the following operating systems: Windows, i5/OS, z/OS, AIX, and/or Linux
Demonstrated experience in comp Sec , privacy laws and security systems
Experience as a member of a technical project team, from design through delivery
Demonstrated experience making technical decisions regarding assigned tasks when presented with options by other team members
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and identifying potential problems and making appropriate changes as necessary
Demonstrated experience creating technical documentation
Demonstrated presentation and communication skills
