Job Title: IBM IIB (Broker) and IBM MQ developer
Location: Brooklyn, NY / NYC
Duration: 1.5 Years with 1-year possible extension
Interview Mode: F2F Mandatory, hence locals preferred.
Description:
Mandatory Requirements:
1. Familiarity with IBM Queuing Technologies (Should know how to manage queues and have an in-depth understanding of Queues)
2. Working knowledge of IBM Message Broker / IBM Integration Bus
3. Solid understanding of XML and XML schema and Web Service protocols.
4. Strong understanding of Database technologies (ORACLE preferred but an understanding or a solid understanding of comparable Database Methodologies
5. Strong understanding core Java.
6. Good communication skills (Written and Verbal knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Project is a plus
7. Team Player and easy to work with a positive attitude
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Write custom tools based on C and Java to benchmark the performance of the product and the source code
Write JMS1.1 based applications to interface with IBM MQ 8
Hands on experience creating and hosting SOAP as well as REST based web services using IBM Integration Bus as well as WMB
Implementing Message flows based on File Input/Output nodes
IBM WMQFTE.
Configuration/ Management of Source Code repository
Transformation, mapping and routing using ESQL, Java, XSLT stylesheet and mapping nodes in IIB
Using the MQ best practices to optimize the resources
Using the MB best practices to tune the performance of the deployed message flows.
Use of ANT script to build and deploy the BAR files
Troubleshot hardware and software problems, and interacted with IT staff or vendors in performing complex testing, support, and troubleshooting functions.
Installing and configuring WMQ 8.0 and IBM IIB on AIX.
Fine tuning the parameters like Heap Size.
Analyzing the thread dumps and the heapdumps to cite the problems with the runtime environment
