Job Description :
Position: IBM Data Stage/ETL Developer
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6-12 Months

Very Strong experience with IBM Data Stage
5+ years of experience in IT
5+ years of solid hands-on experience in using IBM DataStage
4+ years of UDB/Db2 experience
Understand DataStage clustering architecture and parallel jobs
Intimate knowledge in combine/sort/aggregate/transform data
Able to create reusable objects and job templates
Schedule, compile, and run DataStage jobs efficiently
4+ years in UNIX scripting, FTP and basic network principles
4+ years skills in database and data warehouse design principles
4+ years of SQL Coding and querying skills
4+ years of Control M Scheduling tool
4+ years of experience in testing, debugging skills and troubleshooting support and development issues
Experience in providing onsite support
Customer focused and work well in a team environment
Proactive and self-managed to achieve deliverables
Experience with version 8.5 and above (Quality Stage/Data Stage)
Experienced in application development
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects & prioritize correctly
This person must have the ability to work well with cross boarder technical team members.
He must also have the ability to digest functional specifications documents and write Technical Specifications documents as well as High Level design documents.
This person must also be able to interface strongly with the business.
