RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engagement Description:
Design a search plug-in that will allow the users no
loss of functionality when migrating from Content Manger to Content
Navigator
Lead the Design, Develop and Unit Testing for the
Search Plug-in
Assist with the System Integration Testing (SIT), User
Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Implementation for the Search Plug-in
Conduct knowledge sharing/training to BCBSM team
members
QUALIFICATIONS:
Internal working of IBM Content Navigator for version
2.0
Development experience with customizing the out of the
box Navigator software
Technical understanding of plug-ins and external data
services (EDS)
Ability to interpret end user requirements into
plug-ins extensions or external data service (EDS) designs
Demonstrates the ability to work with end-users and
translate business needs into system requirements.
Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot and recommend
solutions to complex Content Navigator system issues.
Essential IBM Content Navigator Skills required to minimally implement the
following:
Running a cross-repository search
Searching for documents in folders
Running a text search
Viewing documents
Printing and downloading documents
Sending documents through email
Editing item properties
Browsing for documents and folders
Editing items
Adding items
Saving items as favorites
Using workflows
Configuring team spaces
Entry templates
Add, view, edit and delete: comments, download
information, likes and tags
Installation, configuration, and deployment features
Administration features
Application programming interfaces
Checkout list
Task manager
Knowledge and experience of Plug ins
Required Skills:
Setup and configuration experience in installing,
configuring and deploying IBM Content Manager
Testing of IBM Content Manager & Content Navigator
Minimum 8 to 10 years supporting functional IBM Content
Manager
Demonstrated experience of installing and configuring
IBM Content Manager
Demonstrated experience with design, development,
implementation and administration of IBM Content Navigator, which includes
analyzing business requirements to identify, recommend and/or create
customizations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Perform configuration and implementation of system
changes
Strong analytical and debugging skills
Preferred Experience:
Migrating from CM8 Client for Windows (Thick Client) to
IBM Content Navigator (Thin Client)
IBM Content Manager CM8 repository features and
configurations.
Deep knowledge of IBM Content Navigator features,
customizable capabilities and workflows using CM8 repository.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science or related field required
