Position Description
Candidate will be working in a highly motivated team. Gives the opportunity to work in Agile environment and play multiple roles as Designer, Developer. Will get a chance to work on migration and with IBM in resolving the PMRs. will get a chance to work in global delivery model with team from various locations.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Primary responsibilities as a Senior developer includes:
Designing, building, testing, and improving Cognos BI reports
Knowledge of reporting and analytics using the Cognos BI Suite, especially IBM Cognos BI 11.0.7 Hard requirement.
Ability to query IBM DB2 databases.
Must have knowledge and experience using Cognos Framework Manager.
Working with SME’s/SAs on Business requirements.
Ability to analyze existing Hyperion reports and build on mapping and frame work in COGNOS.
Prior experience of Migrating Hyperion IR reports to Cognos.
Experiance in Providing solutions for the performance issues in existing Cognos reports.
Should be able work independently as a Developer/Designer.
Willingness and ability to adapt to new BI technologies
Ability to provide solutions to a tight deadline
Sense of ownership.
Coordinating with onshore, offshore and responsible for status updates.
Coordinating with different teams to get the work done.
Prepare technical architecture/solution designs documents.
Good communication skills. Team Oriented and can work independently.
Good written and oral communication skills. Documenting the design specs, unit test results etc.
Responsible for leading the delivery teams from end-to-end delivery standpoint.

Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
Agile and SDLC experience – at least 2+ years
Forward thinking, independent, creative, self-sufficient and go-getter; who can work with less documentation, has exposure testing complex multi-tiered integrated applications.
