Technical/Functional Skills : ? IBM Cognos BI Solution Architecture
? ? ? ? Cognos BI suite (10.2.2 is used currently)

? ? ? ? Clarity on database concepts especially Oracle 9i & above
? ? ? ? Excellent Communication Skill for business requirement management & business communication
? ? ? ? Must be conversant with latest BI trends and technology stack to provide best possible solution and implementation methodology for various business use cases
Roles & Responsibilities : •? ? ? ? Requirement analysis through customer engagement and transformation into IT requirements providing Cognos reporting solutions
? ? ? ? Collaborating with IT Reporting Team to design, build, and test actionable Cognos reporting solutions
? ? ? ? Source data discovery through Data Profiling and development of Data Quality framework. Conceptualize, Build and review of data models.
? ? ? ? Identifying, developing and documenting detailed reporting requirements and detailed specifications through the project life-cycle.
? ? ? ? Reviewing reporting code/design documents to verify accuracy and ensure they meet standards, best practices, and business requirements and compliance procedure.
? ? ? ? Providing timely and accurate estimates for analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment tasks.
? ? ? ? Design or Developing Data Models in the reporting environment per requirement.
? ? ? ? Providing technical assistance for users by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with the Cognos modules.
? ? ? ? Troubleshooting and resolving issues regarding reports generated.
? ? ? ? Solution designing keeping in mind the best possible BI tech stack to provide scalable and cost effective result.
? ? ? ? Ensuring system integrity through regular checks and automated monitoring.
? ? ? ? Identifying process improvement opportunities in the system and implementation to reduce non value added work and bandwidth improvement of resources.

? ? ? ? Provide necessary guidance and implementation strategy as source system subject matter expert.
