1. Experience frameworks starting from scratch or vs existing frameworks which were already implemented by others
2. Ability to discuss frameworks, architecture, Languages, list of components, library, process flow, how and when they were executed, results reporting etc.
3. This position is 70% automation and 30% Manual. The candidate will be hands-on and will create a framework in Java from scratch to automate the testing process/scenarios using at least Selenium Web driver, Junit/Test Ng, Maven, JDBC and Jenkins CI/CD
Member of and responsible for QA functions in IAM and Email domains. The incumbent is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manual and automated test scripts, test cases and performing other QA function as needed.
Ensure the delivery of high quality enterprise products to the College Board internal and external customers, to include creating, maintaining and executing test plans to demonstrate the effectiveness of the College Board Business Systems.
Analysis of functional requirements, testing enterprise applications deployed in various environments, test automations and evaluating test results to determine compliance with test plans/established business processes.
Develop test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts. Perform Unit, Integration, and regression and System level testing by executing test plans.
Reports, documents, and tracks resolutions for software “bugs” identified in the testing process.
Assist in the confirmation of issues reported from outside sources, and collaborates with system development staff in understanding issues and desired resolution.
Participate in the transfer of fully tested software into operational versions i.e. including the release readiness, Dry run validation and post production deployment shakeout.
Assist Lead in the identification, selection, and implementation of software tools and technologies, and testing techniques and procedures that facilitates the SQA process.
Create/maintain test data needed for manual and automated testing.
Test Early & Often and communicate all test findings to the team in timely and efficient manner.
Prepare documentation related to release readiness and environment testing status to the lead.
Develop functional automation scripts at unit, integration and system level using variety of supported tool sets.
Communicate with and understand business goals and requirements, and work to create data solutions that add value to the business
Develop test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts for testing DB Components, Batch Jobs, DB Stored Procedures and AWS services
Required Skills:
Past experience in the Enterprise domain space including:
o Develop automated scripts and perform white box and black box validation of Enterprise Products and COTS products.
o Identify and document test scenarios
o Develop and analyze complex SQL queries for Batch and data validation
o Demonstrate ability to operate with limited supervision and direction given
o Demonstrate exceptional skills and communicate without guidance
o Prepare accurate estimates at the component, use case and project level
o Develop automated load tests based on written or automated test cases
o Analyze, document, and verify system change requests (defects, enhancements, new features)
o Routinely Collaborate with the Lead and Development staff as needed
o Perform and assist others in data validation against Amazon RDS, Dynamo DB and Oracle database
o Routinely prepare/send test execution coverage reports to the lead as needed.
Experience in developing and executing automated test scripts at presentation application, Web services and DB layers
Working experience with developing automation test scripts using Java, Java Script or Python
Working experience with the Selenium Web driver, SoapUI and Postman testing tools
Working experience and knowledge of Enterprise architectural frameworks
Technical proficiency in validating Enterprise services, including SOAP, REST and Amazon Micro Services
Working experience and Automation Proficiency using Selenium Web Driver, Maven and Jenkins
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be able to work as a member of cross-functional project teams in matrix environment
Experience working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment, with an ability to adapt to shifting priorities and schedules
About you
Ability to work off-shifts (early morning, evening, night, weekend) to support planned and Non-planned maintenance release validations

Working experience with performance tuning and stress testing
Working experience and knowledge of IAM COTS products such as Ping Federation and Oracle IAM
Working experience and knowledge of E-mailing products such as Marketing Cloud
Education/Certifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or MS.
