JD / Skills:
Good experience in Hyperion with strong Application Development process experience on Hyperion EPM Product Suite, Cubes.
Good knowledge on Hyperion Planning and Essbase .
Working on small\medium\large Hyperion Application Development
Expert in building Dimensions, Attributes, Shared Member using Rule Files in an outline by means of several build methods such as Generation, Level and Parent-Child references.
Strong experience in analyzing, designing, updating, testing and migrating Essbase Cubes in different environments and also proficient in performance tuning and optimization of Essbase applications.
Very proficient in writing Calculation Scripts and automating the Essbase cubes using MaxL, ESSCMD, MDX and Batch Scripts.
Experience in creation and maintenance of numerous applications and Multi-Dimensional Database (MDDB) using BSO and ASO.
Experience in creating the replicated, linked and transparent partitions using the Partition Manager.
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in the Hyperion Essbase environment.
In depth knowledge of OLTP and OLAP, E-R model, relational Database Design, developing Database Schemas like Star schema and Snowflake schema used in relational, dimensional and multidimensional modeling.
Strong experience in backup and restoring cubes within and across the other platforms.
Qualifications:
· More than 10 years of experience in Application Development/Management/Support along with software development or software integration projects.
· A minimum of 4 years in a professional senior technical role such as technical lead, team lead, architect, or any other hands on leadership role.
· A minimum of 5 years of experience working with customers directly.
· Requirement gathering/analysis/fitment, Oracle suite of products, SOAP, REST, HTTPS, FTP, Java, Oracle
· Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
· Passionate about learning new technologies
Nice to have:
· Exposure to application maintenance support process.
· Project management experience working with Oracle/Sybase, Hyperion HFM, Quantum, Essbase
· Experience working with various verticals (i.e. Retail Services, Consumer Packaged Goods, financial services, insurance, retail, healthcare, technology)
