Hybris Software Architect Job Description
Savantis has an opportunity available for a SAP Hybris Software Architect to join its Engineering team. This position will consult on customer projects for the worldwide SAP solutions practice. The individual will be responsible for developing Hybris (C4) and supporting software architecture and designs and for providing technical guidance to development teams in the implementation of these solutions. This individual will be a key contributor and will interact at multiple levels of the company and with customers.
SUMMARY: Manage Hybris eCommerce, Marketing and related software architecture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Design, document and present solution architectures for Hybris programs
Provide thought leadership in the areas of eCommerce
Works with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements
Develop high level work estimates, resource requirements and technical plans
Provide implementation guidance to multiple software development teams
Proactively participate in continuous improvement activities
Must follow company policies in regard to travel, performance, tracking and reporting on hours spent, and completing all required paperwork within acceptable timeframes

QUALIFICATIONS:
Expert technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation of SAP Hybris (C4) solutions
Excellent skills in project planning and implementation.
Aware of business issues as they impact overall project plans.
Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours to properly coordinate global resources and stakeholders
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Significant experience managing complex software projects
Experience interfacing with customers to gather and document data requirements.
Hands on experience delivering end to end eCommerce implementations (at least 3)
Data hub experience
Magento experience a plus
Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science; advanced degree desirable.
Experience managing SAP implementation projects
Typically requires 10 to 15 years of experience
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
General office environment. No special physical demands required.
Periodically may be required to carry beeper for after hours technical support.
Able to make business trips as needed. Usually not more than one trip of several days per month
