SAP Hybris Project Manager Job Description
Savantis has an opportunity available for an SAP Hybris Project Manager to join its Project Management Office in the US. The role as Hybris Project Manager will be to facilitate new implementations of the latest Hybris eCommerce & Marketing technology in the entertainment and hospitality sector. While our focus is on hospitality and entertainment and bringing a personalized customer experience to every customer of our implementation customers there is immense career growth potential for the right candidate as we are on the forefront of SAP Hybris and customer experience solutions in these sectors.
Reporting to a PMO Lead, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing and delivering projects according to the project timelines and budgets. Project Managers are also responsible for management of the project teams and ensuring quality control and project governance throughout the project lifecycle utilizing the project delivery processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Single point of accountability for project delivery
Ensures the completion and approval of key deliverables and documents as noted by the project scope and SDLC (Agile & Waterfall methodologies included)
Manages project timelines, scope, and delivery
Manage multiple & cross project teams schedules, expectations, tasks, and issues for delivery of expected solutions as related to project objectives
Identifies, escalates, resolves and/or mitigates issues and risks which will impede delivery
Coordinates the activities and meetings of the Project Team Leads to ensure appropriate communication and break of traditional silos
Interfaces with project sponsor(s), internal resources, and 3rd party vendor project team members to develop and maintain project management documents including project plans and status reports
Works with Project Team Leads and company''s management to ensure proper resources are available to complete the work within the budget and timeline
Facilitates issues management and change management processes
Interact directly with business owners & SMEs providing a translation layer for technically-oriented project teams
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

TEAM MANAGEMENT
Effectively coaches and mentors project team members.
Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member''s contributions.
Utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential and ensures they are contributing to the improvement of process and their own development.
Motivates team members to work together in the most efficient manner.
Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members which includes leadership in collecting data for post mortem reviews and ensuring this information is utilized for process and team improvement.
Mitigates project team conflict and communication problems.
Participates in PMO meetings in order to improve PMO process, team culture and client relations.
Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
Participates in internal teams/task forces.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements on Client engagements that they personally manage.
Identifies resources needed and works with appropriate internal practice leads in the assignment of individual responsibilities.
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
Participates in the UAT process as deemed appropriate by the projects they lead.
Effectively applies Savantis methodology and enforces project standards.
Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
Minimizes Savantis exposure and risk on project.
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Manages project budget.
Identifies and communicates business development and "add-on" sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project to the Savantis Account Manager.
Facilitates team and client meetings via phone or other conference tools.
Holds regular status meetings with project team via phone or other conference tools.
Keeps project team well informed of changes within the organization and general client news.
Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Manages day-to-day client interaction.
Sets and manages client expectations.
Develops lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.
Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum bachelor’s degree
3-5 years as a Project Manager in eCommerce or Consulting environment.
Working toward PMP certification from PMI (optional)
Certified in at least 1 Hybris module or working towards it

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
8+ years of project management experience
8+ years’ experience leading web development project teams of varying sizes and duration in designing/building scalable, complex, business critical applications and systems
3+ Hybris projects end-to-end life cycles
Possesses a working knowledge understanding of Hybris and administrative functionality
Familiar with SAP Product Suite - Hybris Cloud for Customer (C4C), SAPUI5, Hybris Marketing, HANA Analytics and ISU (on S4HANA
A college graduate with a 4-year degree from an accredited institution in a related field is preferred.
PMP/PMI or Equivalent Certification preferred
Agile/SCRUM Master Certification preferred
Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design
Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project
