Hybrid Android Developer
Pay rate: DOE
Location: 6 months
Duration: Farmers Branch, TX
Our client is seeking an experienced hands-on Android developer for a 6-month contract opportunity located in North Dallas. The candidate will be responsible for the development of enterprise mobile applications for Android devices. The candidate will be working alongside other developers in our collaborative environment on our application platform.
Number of years of experience: Min 4 years.
Android development: Min 3 + years Hands on experience.
Hybrid mobile app development: Min 6 + months hands on experience
Required skills:
Design and build applications for Android devices on the Android platform.
Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
Experience with Android SDK and multiple versions of Android.
Must be familiar with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Experience with Android UI principles and best practices.
Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the available libraries.
Knowledge of code versioning & project management tools, such as Git, Bitbucket, JIRA etc.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Polymer, Angular JS, SQL, Hybrid Mobile App Development
Fluency in Spanish language
