Job Description:

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Executive Vice President, the Human Resources Corporate HR Director is a full service human resource partner and consultant to the global corporate functional teams. The role provides leadership, direction, development and coordination of the human resources initiatives for global compliance, policies & procedures and recruitment. Proactively supports the HR strategy and influences key stakeholders to do the same.

In addition to the human resources related items, this role maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business’ financial position, market conditions, its midrange plans, culture and competition. Working collaboratively in a highly matrix environment with the HR Corporate and HR Business Leaders provides leadership, direction, development and coordination of global human resources initiatives. Identifies and anticipates HR needs in the functional teams, prioritizes and effectively communicates them to functional leadership for collaboration and solution development.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Provides leadership in ensuring consistent and strong HR processes in recruitment, hiring & selection, background checks, credit checks and reference checks. Anticipates and determines employment needs to the global organization and determines recruiting strategy.
Meets with the functional leaders to evaluate and determine employment needs. Advertises positions using various methods, including internet/intranet. Screens, interviews, and recommends candidates for vacant positions.
Participate in due diligence and integration actions for mergers and acquisitions.
Works with global functional leaders to assess talent, create manpower plans, qualified pipeline and succession plans.
Participates in the recruiting for and selection of candidates.
Oversees performance management for the global functional teams and works to improve the process and the quality of reviews, feedback and individual development plans.
Lead project teams to develop new policies, programs, systems or tools.
Resolve complex employee relations issues.
Conduct investigations and recommend corrective actions.
Supports the Compliance department with Employee Relations initiatives that support understanding of Code of Conduct, legal and regulatory compliance, and all other company-wide program or policy initiatives.
Responsible for maintaining the highest level of integrity, professionalism, fairness, and confidentiality in all aspects of job performance.
Assist in the analysis and development of HR best practices.
Ensures the quality of employees hired, the effectiveness of recruiting and selection techniques, and compliance with applicable country and state regulations.
Provides leadership in ensuring due process in addressing performance issues and consistent disciplinary action.
Coach management teams on themes relevant to their professional development and effective teamwork.
Actively contributes to the successful implementation of the HR business plan across businesses and around the globe. Identifies and anticipates HR needs, prioritizes and effectively communicates them to business unit leadership and HR colleagues for collaboration and solution development.
Participate in training material generation and training activities for the functional teams.
Defines, drives, measures and is accountable for improving HR’s value to the business. Ensures effective implementation of the HR strategic goals from corporate across the region.
Responsible for development and/or harmonization, as well as implementation, of Brand’s human resource policies and procedures through HR staff to ensure consistency of application and compliance with country law.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications
Education

Bachelor''s Degree in a business or social science discipline
More than 10 years of experience in progressive HR roles
