Performance Test Engineer
St louis, MO
3 months + Extension

Builds load scenarios and logs them appropriately
Prior to given load test, ensures the JMeter load generators are up and running
Sends communications when the load tests start and end
Log defects in HPALM/ JIRA
Stores the load test results appropriately
Creates a Performance Test Report document
Internally reviews the Test Report with Performance Lead
Generate final test summary reports for management review
Mentors junior team members
Suggest new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency
Analyze root causes of performance issues and provide corrective actions
Work in offshore and Onshore model.

Good knowledge of JMeter/LoadRunner 11
Experience with JMeter/ HP Test Tool Suite or tools like Webload, LoadUI and similar solutions specific to performance test engineering
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
Strong understanding of quality assurance process, tools and methodologies
Strong skills in use of XML/JSON requests in building load scripts (knowledge of XML request formats, modification of data in XML, configure endpoints)
Experience with defect tracking tools and test case management systems
Experience testing in a cloud-based environment is a plus

Required Work Experience:

3-5 years relevant Load Testing experience, code development, and/or QA testing
3 years of experience using JMeter /HP LoadRunner or Performance Center
