Senior Node/React engineer for a team lead role
Candidates must be local to NYC want interview on-site and start ASAP
6 Month + Contract
Skills/Requirements:
- At least 7 years professional development experience
- At least 3 years professional experience with Node
- At least 2 years professional experience with React
- Strong testing and refactoring skills
- Ability to lead a small team of offshore engineers and an on-site product manager
- Strong working knowledge of Agile development principles including standups, iteration planning meetings, retrospectives, and collecting feedback.
The job:
- Work for a startup web-based recruiting company focused on diversity hiring and mentoring.
- Stack: Node, React, Redux deployed on Heroku
- Location on site at Def Method (some remote available)
- Term: up to 6 months
- Important: this is a legacy app with lots of refactoring work needed.
