Skills Required:

Technical skills
Overall 8 to 10 years’ experience
Extensive experience in analysis, design, coding, testing, developing, debugging, configuring, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications using Java, J2EE Technologies.
Strong object-oriented analysis, design, and programming experience and SOLID principles
Strong Experience in scripting languages like PowerShell,
Experience with developing for Linux environments.
Hands on experience Configuring and Administering SCM (GIT, SVN), Build (CMake, Make files, Maven), Nexus, CI(Jenkins), CD Automation Tools like Octopus.
Experience with RDBMS databases and preferably, MS SQL Server databases.
Experience in NoSQL Databases like MongoDB preferred
Cloud experience probably Google
Operations
Monitor health of production Applications
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with production Applications
Coordinate change and issue resolution activities with Customer technology groups
Collaborate with Customer technical team for upgrades to infrastructure and OS components with the Customer technical teams
Initiate corrective actions based on alerts
Maintain system-to-system functionality
Assist Customer when application inputs are required to perform Incident/Problem resolution in the production environment.
Manage Production Support, Development and Testing environments
1. Support and Maintenance
Research support requests raised by Customer business groups
Conduct research and resolve incidents by providing 12 hour support and on-call bridge support on need basis.
Respond to requests for research regarding data, application code, or the interactions between these
Act as primary point of contact responsible for communicating and interacting with Customer’s Third Party vendors supporting the infrastructure (i.e. network, hardware, O/S) and the Applications to research and/or troubleshoot Incidents/Problems impacting the In-scope Application environments being managed by Supplier
Provide Incident/Problem response
Provide Incident/Problem escalation and resolution
Provide Application monitoring and support services
Provide functional assistance in Production Support
Support IT projects during upgrades of infrastructure software and hardware.
Manage Incident/Problem queues related to the Applications supported
Answer questions and/or create data extracts to fulfill request demands
Support release activities and deployment efforts
Maintain system-to-system functionality
2. Process Improvement
Recommend and implement tools to support Application support work, as mutually agreed with Customer
Continuously improve the processes
Produce and enhance existing monthly quality and support metrics
