This position provides Ariba application implementation and Ariba application maintenance and support. As a member of the Applications team, this position needs to be flexible and adaptable to changes in priorities and responsibilities.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Implementation
Perform all activities required to design the solution to meet business requirements and bring the application live within the agreed project timeline including but limited to below activities:
Requirements & Solution Design
· Assist in gathering, documenting, and transforming business requirements into functional and technical specifications
· Develop and configure the Ariba system to meet business requirements
· Assist in developing realistic timelines and achieving project plan milestones
· Work with third party vendors when required to integrate functionality from third party software
· Research, identify, and advise best practice designs which are scalable and efficient to maintain
· Develop and configure Ariba applications using Agile methodology and provide demos of work to date to working group on a regular basis and to other stakeholders as requested
· Provide demonstrations and participate in meetings regarding the requirements and solution.
· Communicate challenges or delays timely to project manager and propose mitigating actions
Testing
· Perform unit testing on all developed and configured work
· Create end to end test plan for user acceptance testing
· Assist in organizing and carrying out user acceptance testing
· Identify and implement resolutions to test problems within the testing timeline
Training
· Assist in documenting and reviewing training material
· Assist to update training material when business process or system process changes
· Assist in organizing and carrying out user training
Post Go-Live
Perform all activities to maintain system operability and incorporate the Ariba application into the existing PBF support and change control procedures
Hypercare and Support
· Provide support to the user community as needed and in compliance with current PBF Ariba support procedures
· Ensure all support instances are captured in the Footprints support ticket application per current PBF Ariba support procedures
· Provide PBF with knowledge and documentation needed to support Ariba independently.
· Identify recurring issues and provide recommendations to eliminate or reduce.
Maintenance & Integration into PBF Application Suite
· Assist in developing auditable processes and procedures aligned with PBF Audit requirements and consideration of Ariba as a SOX Compliant application
· Assist in developing system reports and procedures to provide data related to business processes determined to be of risk and require audit
· Assist in developing system reports and procedures to carry out user access reviews as required by PBF Audit requirements
