Description:
To assist with inquiries related to a multi-factor authentication service rollout. Provide guidance and direction to applicants to help navigate complex identify management and computer account processes.
Provide first-tier services via telephone and email. Provide excellent interpersonal communications for interactions with the community interacting with the Help Desk via telephone, email, and in-person.
Report, research, troubleshoot, and resolve problems and requests for passphrase resets and account management services on Windows and Macintosh computer systems.
Maintain accurate, effective, and timely incident response documentation in accordance with department policies, procedures, and practices.
Participate in meetings and ad hoc workgroups. Provide other technical services assigned by the supervisor or other designated managerial staff.
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills.
Experience assimilating complex technical concepts, terms, and material, and explaining this material to non-technical clients.
Skills to independently research, plan, test, and document technical solution.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with DUO multi-factor authentication service.
Previous experience with identify management and authentication issues.
