Application Support Specialist

Responsibilities and Duties

The Application Support Specialist personnel provides assistance and guidance to users with our custom software application and technical issues. They provide telephone, email and web support for end user community assisting them with first level troubleshooting, problem solving and walk the users through a series of steps to determine the nature of the problem. They work with other team members to provide repeatable and streamlined support procedure and superior customer support. They ensure timely escalation of unresolved issues to the next level of support, proper recording, documentation and closure.

Required skills and abilities

Experience providing email, phone and ticket based support utilizing standard industry solutions ( e.g. JIRA desk service, Service Now)
Demonstrate strength in rapidly diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving client issues and open tickets
Good understanding of technical support practices, ticket documentation, service level agreements, statistics and escalation process.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Wide range and skills in computer software
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
A quick learner, team player and ability to work with minimal supervision
