Job Description :
Summary of the Role-
We have several Business Units such as BFSI, Insurance, Oracle etc. as a part of their client facing units. The Sales team gets a project from a client belonging to any of the above BU’s. The BU’s, in turn, use the resources from internal teams such as Software engineering group, Testing, Analytics, Digital, Automation, Security etc. to develop and maintain the technology for the client’s project.
One other BU is Consulting. The BU’s mentioned above also use the services of Consulting BU to design technology solutions to problems being faced. The projects that we receive from the client require in-depth analysis to understand how can efficiencies be built, how problems can be solved, and which technologies need to be used for the same. The relevant BU will execute the project based on recommendations from the Consulting BU. We are looking for a Head of Consulting BU who is up to date with latest technologies and understands the details of the business to generate revenue for his BU. The Head of Consulting must put his ideas and innovations to help other business units but simultaneously also needs to manage his team revenue as well. Someone with techno-business approach will be a perfect fit!
We are looking for a person
Develop and execute a strategy to grow the Consulting business through a combination of advisory, project, and managed consulting services
Lead delivery of Consulting projects with small project teams to ensure that consulting projects are delivered profitably
Should have Strong background in business consulting, process analysis design and improvement, and development of technology-based business solutions
He should be an outside-the-box thinker who enjoys exploring the myriad ways people, strategy, operations, and process improvement help shape the future of our clients’ organizations
Enjoy leveraging research, analytics and industry insights to create value for clients
Accountability for developing, aligning and executing the roadmap for various Technology consulting projects.
Act as an advisor on talent/workforce planning, development, and management related issues pertaining to the projects.
Provide technology business management consulting services to IT Leadership towards lofty goals such as IT Cost Transparency, IT Project and Portfolio financials and revenue management
