Participate as a member of our hardware systems team for Electronic and Medical Equipment (EME) systems supporting multiple client divisions. Utilize a variety of new and proven technologies to deliver life-changing systems to patients and clinicians in support of Client’s mission. The position includes a variety of sustaining engineering and new product development opportunities. Responsible for providing electrical and electronic engineering support and expertise in the definition, design, development, testing and sustenance of products. Very experience with System Engineering

Title: Hardware Engineer

Location: St Paul, MN

Required Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

Experience, and Skills:

- 8-10 years of experience

- Excellent core engineering skills and Relevant industry experience

- Solid lab skills and experience with debug, fixtures, test circuits or electronics circuit or systems

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with industry standards-based EMI/EMC Requirements and Testing

- Experience with medical device electronics and systems – preferably in Electrophysiology or Cardiac Rhythm Management (RF Generators, Pumps, Recording Systems, Mapping Systems)

- Experience in working with contract manufacturers and/or material suppliers

- Experience in product continuation and value engineering

- Adequate Proficiency with LabView, Orcad, Matlab, Mathcad or other similar simulation and analysis tools

- Strong communications and time management abilities

- Leadership potential or experience

Primary Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, debug, modifies, and tests electrical circuits and systems by using current tools, analysis techniques, and technologies.

- Documents electrical or systems development by writing documents, reports, memos, change requests. Methods used are determined by approved procedures and standards.

- Tracks electrical development effort by creating and maintaining records in the approved tracking management tool

- Solves engineering problems by analyzing the situation and recommending corrective or alternative actions

- Analyzes, evaluates, and verifies, requirements, circuits, and systems by using engineering practices.

- Investigates, researches, selects electronic circuits, components, tools, equipment and practices.

- In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures

- Experience with System Engineering practices.
