Role: Hardware Electrical Engineer
Location: Rochester, NY
Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:
9 - 12 years of experience in Hardware design and testing
Expert knowledge in Analog Signal and Power Systems and Power component Design and Testing
Design experience in low to medium power transformers and electromagnetic components
Should have good experience of component selections, digital & mixed signal circuit design, Power Electronics
Excellent knowledge of assembly process, DFM/DFT/DFMEA guidelines and client specific process
Coordination with vendors locally and globally and provided support for transfer to manufacturing
Excellent in documenting requirements, specifications, design documents and take it through review and approval process
Ability to execute documented review methods either manually or through database software independently
Should be able to identify gaps in the specifications, prototypes and other engineering plans
Ability to understand the basic elements of project tracking such as monitoring of effort spent and schedule adherence
Skills Required :
Technical :
Hands on experience of component selections, power supply, transformers
5+ years’ experience in Analog, Power Circuit, Digital and Mixed signal designs
Hardware System Design with (8/16/32 bit Processors/DSPs)
3+ years experienced in system verification and validation including subsystems like transformers, UPS, Power Circuits etc.
Awareness to FPGA/CPLD: Xilinx Spartan Series
Memories: DDR2, SDRAM, NOR, NAND, EEPROM
Power Supplies - External and On-board, Thermal Analysis
Working knowledge and experience of Electrical CAD tools
