Hortonworks Hadoop administration.
1) Development of SOP''s, Policies, and documentation for a new big data platform.
2) Typical day-Working with the project team on the standup and config of Hadoop echo system. 3)The chance to work on the ground up implementation of Excellus Big Data implementation.
4) Skills- Hadoop admin; Big Data architecture; Security configurations for big data platforms .
Minimum of 5 years’ experience using the particular tools being asked to support.
Recognized as subject matter expert in the field.
Experienced in managing vendor contract support.
Capability to architect highly scalable distributed systems using different open source tools.
Understanding of how algorithms work and experience building high-performance algorithms.
Proactively plan for growth, system improvements, upgrades, etc.
Communication skills and documentation skills are very important for this.
