Job Description :
This encompasses managing streaming data, distributed parallel computation of complex financial calculations, reporting, and processing. This role will require participation at all stages of the project life cycle from requirements gathering to implementation. This role will also require significant focus in architecture, design and development of an enterprise-scale distributed event processing and data computation platform.
8 -10+ years of hands on experience Java and J2EE
Solid experience designing and developing Big-Data/MapReduce/ForkJoin data grids.
Expert in high volume processing performance, threading and concurrency.
Deep knowledge of Java programming language
Object Oriented software design
Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills in distributed J2EE technologies
Solid experience in Spring and Maven
Competent SQL developer
Strong understanding of Java profile tools, Unit test frameworks like Junit and ability to write solid System Integration Test cases
College degree (Computer Science preferred
Advantageous
Experience in Agile development methodology, such as Scrum
Experience in Test Driven Development
Experience in Linux and shell scripting
Experience with Casandra/NoSQL, Hadoop, Apache Ignite, Apache Spark
Experience with messaging and stream processing such as Apache Kafka, Flink
Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures
Experience in GIT
Experience with the Financial Services industry experience is helpful, particularly in Securities Collateral Management
