The following are the key job requirements for the contractor position we are looking for in an AWS/Big Data Developer:
- 4+ yrs in Cloud Development, with particular AWS experience
- Expertise in Programming Languages that include Shell and Hadoop tools
- Experience in HIVE, Spark (Python or Scala, Python is preferred), JAVA, SQL
- Knowledge/Experience w/AWS Services (preferred) like EMR (HIVE/Spark/Presto), S3, Lambda, ECS/Docker, EB, API gateway, Athena, Quick Sight etc.
- In general, the successful candidate should have good understanding of AWS Services
- Basic Knowledge in other Programming Languages - Javascript (NodeJS), UI Tools like Angular JS (optional)
