Job Description :

The Java, Python and Linux requirements below can be lower than what I have mentioned, if looking for an engineer who would be creating applications / transformations on top of Hadoop.
· Hands on experience working on Hadoop for 5 years or more
· Hands on Experience on HIVE, OOZIE, PIG and Data Modeling
· Deep understanding of internals of core Hadoop components - YARN, HDFS, and MapReduce
· Strong experience in designing, creating, packaging and integrating Java based projects.
· Good hands on knowledge of Python, Shell or any similar scripting language
· Strong computer science fundamentals
· Comfortable dealing with data access languages, including SQL
· Solid understanding of Linux operating system a plus
· Good communication skills
