Role : Hadoop Administrator

Job Description :
3+ years of experience in Hadoop administration - Horton Works Distribution (HDP and HDF)
Experience in secured Hadoop Cluster setup, administration and maintenance with strong proficiency in troubleshooting, tuning and administration activities on HDFS, Yarn, Zookeeper, Hive, Spark, Map Reduce, MySQL, HBase, Kafka, NiFi, Ranger etc.
Experience in installation/configuration Hadoop clusters from scratch.
Experience in upgrading Hadoop clusters using rolling upgrade/express upgrade methods.
Experience in troubleshooting and analyzing Hadoop cluster services/component failures and job failures.
Experience in setup, configuration and management of security for Hadoop clusters using Kerberos and integration with LDAP/AD and Centrify at an Enterprise level.
Experience with creating Ranger policies. 8. Experience in setting and configuring backup and recovery procedure on Hadoop.
Experience in setting and configuring High availability and Disaster Recovery procedures.
Experience in managing Hadoop cluster with Ambari and developing custom tools/scripts to monitor the Hadoop Cluster health.
Experience in documenting Run books, and other operational documentation.
Experience in Installation and configuring third party Applications like R Studio, Jupiter, Tableau etc., in Hadoop environment.
Strong experience in UNIX/Linux systems administration.
Knowledge of Relational Databases (MySQL, Postgres, Maria DB, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server,
Research and recommend innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for administration tasks. Identify approaches to efficiencies in resource utilization, provide economies of scale, and simplify support issues.
Work with IT Operations and Information Security Operations in monitoring and troubleshooting of incidents to maintain service levels.
Work with Product, Business and Technical teams to gather, understand and document requirements
