Qualified candidates will have a strong background in Hyperion development/administration and development experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE

The developer is responsible for designing, building and maintaining HR/Financial/Procurement reporting and forecast planning systems to meet the needs of the client. The specific duties include, but are not limited to:

Supporting and maintaining the Oracle Hyperion application
Configuring the Hyperion application and creating custom code
ODI Management/configuration
Creating and maintaining data models in OBIEE
Migrating data from Hyperion into Oracle EBS
Developing technical designs and documentation to meet the client’s requirements
Creating and maintaining reports
Identifying and resolving issues that impact usability and system performance
Creating and executing test scripts
Gathering and documenting client needs and requirements.

Experience Required

6+ years of strong experience in development and administration with Hyperion Planning & Essbase (i.e., calc scripts, business rules, metadata)
Development experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
Experience with data warehousing, multi-dimensional databases, Business Intelligence and OLAP
Experience with monthly and year-end financial close management, budgeting, planning and forecasting
Experience with meta-data management
Experience with documenting design specification and other related documents
Experience with Oracle EBS a plus but not required.

Skills Required

Strong technical expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, maxL, XML publisher, and other technologies in the Oracle landscape
Strong experience in Hyperion application development
Strong experience in ODI adapter
Strong experience in Hyperion and Essbase administration
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Strong development skills to include writing complete queries, views, and stored procedures
Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with Data warehouse and experience with ETL processes
Ability to adhere to SDLC standards
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to anticipate and proactively handle issues
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as exceptional analytical and time management capabilities
Excellent documentation skills (creating knowledgebase documents)
Ability to work without close supervision, keeping focused on short and long-term support objectives
Ability to successfully facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, IT teams, departments and levels
