Job Summary
The HR Project Manager will support the implementation of a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system (Workday) for client’s Enterprise Business Services. The HR Project Manager will be a dedicated resource to the HR workstream to ensure the proper execution of tasks to timelines, with additional coordination and oversight from the ERP Program PMO team. The Project Manager will require a keen holistic understanding of the project requirements and work in conjunction with coordinating resources from the other business areas, implementation partners, and the software partners.
Job Responsibilities
1. Coordinate and facilitate meeting logistics, agendas and documentation notes between all domains
2. Participate in the development and maintenance of the HR business workplan
3. Demonstrate ability to manage, own and execute project plan tasks while adhering to a strict timeline
4. Anticipate, manage and resolve HR workstream issues that could impact project budget, timeline, scope or quality
5. Develop and distribute project status reports containing key HR workstream accomplishments, risks, issues and mitigation plans to full distribution list
6. Exhibit advanced proficiency in client’s project management methodology, tools and practices
7. Ensure that client resources are engaged at all phases of the implementation project
8. Collaborate with all parties to ensure the End to End solution aligns across HCM, Payroll, Finance and SCM
9. Communicate effectively with project staff and stakeholders
10. Prepare and contribute materials for meetings as requested
11. Contribute to the development and management of the ERP Program communication plan to address domain and enterprise-level needs
12. Facilitate and manage the identification/completion of reporting and configuration needs with Business/Operations
13. Identify and raise change management impacts, challenges, and issues to change management team when appropriate
