Background: RDx/EDA is the strategic risk platform for the bank
Within RDx, the Risk Data Fabric (RDF) is the big data storage for all risk related data, with multiple users’ groups across the firm.
Summary: RDF is looking for a seasoned technologist with extensive experience in large distributed systems: focus on Unix/Linux, and Bigdata/No-SQL data infrastructure, HBase.
Key responsibilities:
Bigdata stack Design/Engineering/Support across multiple environments
Linux/Windows infrastructure and network design/support.
Hardware procurement
Liaison to Production Services organization
Capacity Planning.
Key requirements:
Expert in Unix/Linux environments with good Windows background
Expert in Bigdata/No-SQL very large distributed systems/stores, HBase
Extensive Financial industry experience
Good knowledge in financial and trading systems and data, preferably in a risk management context.
