Title: Guidewire Software Engineer (Contract)

Job description
Aptitude to work in development and support project with a strong niche skill of Guidewire
(PolicyCenter, Rating engine & BillingCenter) knowledge. Onshore roles require client co-ordination
and deep functional or insurance (P&C) industry expertise
Must have Skills
Good experience in Property and Casualty domain
Good functional understanding of Guidewire.
Good knowledge on policy and billing life cycle and transactions in Guidewire.
Hands on experience Guidewire PolicyCenter (8) and BillingCenter (8) (i.e. Workflows, Data
Model, Rules, Entity Creation/Modification, Benefit Management, PCFs customization,
Validations, Widgets and their attributes, Integration Mechanism), GW Data model.
Batch process, Guidewire Messaging framework, OOTB plugins.
WMB, WAS, Apache
Guidewire digital portals and HTML, Java Script, Angular JS.
Experience in GOSU scripting and Java Enterprise Edition at least for 2 years and at least 1
year of Guidewire development experience precisely on Configuration, Digital Portal and
Integration.
Working knowledge of SOAP / REST web service with good understanding of XML and XSD
Experience in front end technologies and emerging database including MS SQL, Mongo DB
Knowledge etc.
Should possess experience in writing SQL queries for data analysis.

Informatics experience is an added advantage
Good communication skill and should be able to adapt in Client Implementation
Eager to learn and apply new technology for application remediation and enhancement.
Being Guidewire certified is an added advantage
