Details of our need:
· Need a Data Engineer with STRONG MS Azure (NOT AWS) knowledge (Must Have (Nice to Have - Building predictive/machine learning models
· Seniority – Ideally Sr. Manager & Above (but we are flexible to take Managers also)
· Location – LA/Irvine Travelers accepted
· Duration – 6-12+months

Must Have – Azure IaaS (infrastructure) and Azure PaaS (services):
- Work / project experience in Azure, preferably involving data heavy / analytics applications leveraging relational and NoSQL databases, data warehouse, big data etc.
Some Azure but not only from DevOps standpoint. Does not come across as a solution architect. No data centric projects
- Ability to clearly articulate with technical details the work done on Azure
- Cloud migration experience alone will not be enough – need experience building cloud native applications
No experience implementing Azure based applications or using services beyond just the deployment
Big plus – Predictive analytics / Machine learning
- Experience building or supporting creation of predictive analytics solutions or machine learning models using R / Python within Azure

Nice to have:
- Experience with Big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc

- Experience building data pipelines to transform structured, semi-structured and unstructured typically for pre-processing for data science related work
