Summary:
Client is looking for Senior developer with experience on Kafka / Cassandra who has developed high performance applications
which can scale up (Can handle thousands of requests per second
Should have work on Golang (to save ramp up time Must have experience on batch processing and some kind matrix generation application.
Should not be dev ops or system admin back ground.
One of our clients is looking for a Sr. Backend Engineer with distributed technologies.
8+ years of industry experience and 3+ years experience in backend distributed technologies
Good knowledge of Cassandra and Redis
Stream / Data processing services like Kafka or Kinesis
Experienced with many object oriented programming languages, a Polyglot
Any amount exposure to Go programming language, beginner to expert
Has worked on Micro-services, other web services technologies
Comfortable working in Linux / UNIX environment with shell scripting
Application Production Support experience
DESIRED:
Experience analyzing large data sets, including pattern detection and predictive analytics
Experience in applying machine learning algorithms (e.g. clustering, regression, classification, feature extraction) and techniques to real world data at scale
Front end experience with Ember, Node.js, and HTML5/CSS
Understanding of AWS services specifically EC2, EBS, DynamoDB, Kinesis
