The Global Indirect Procurement team is looking for a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager who will primarily focus on strategic sourcing and strategy for the IT category across multiple businesses and functions.

The key focus will be on leveraging our IT spend (hardware, software, telecom, professional services, etc globally utilizing strategic sourcing, category management and supplier performance management processes and tools to deliver value.
The Global Strategic Sourcing Manager will partner with Associates in Procurement, IT, and other functional operations teams to develop, recommend, and support Strategic Sourcing Plans, Supplier Selection, Contracting, Negotiation Plans, and Supplier Relationship Management activities.

Responsibilities include:
Developing fully integrated long-term strategic plans for the entire spend within the IT category
Representing the Procurement organization across the IT category globally
Acting as point of contact for the IT stakeholders providing clarity on policy, procedures and controls related to Procurement activities
Owning the supplier relationship by developing relationships with supplier executives as well as rapport at all levels
Partnering with IT in Supplier Performance Management activities including but not limited to Supplier Business Review Meetings, Scorecards, and Compliance requirements
Partnering with the business and/or function to define requirements, develop, recommend and implement sourcing strategies, including make versus buy decisions, supplier evaluation/selection activities, negotiations, and contracting
Partner with the business in developing and implementing complex negotiation strategies
Developing deep IT market intelligence to understand external industry trends, the competitive environment and our internal performance to integrate benchmarking into sourcing strategies, supplier selections, negotiation plans, and other process and/or decision making
Key partner with the business and/or function to identify high-risk suppliers, align stakeholders on recommendations, creation and closure of risk mitigation plans
Facilitating cost-analysis activities in partnership with finance, the business and/or function
Owning the coordination and resolution of supplier administrative excursions (ie. availability, compliance, financial health), as necessary
Partnering with the business and/or function to identify high-risk suppliers, align stakeholders on recommendations, creation and closure of risk mitigation plans
Conducting supplier assessments in partnership with business and/or Functional resources
Owning the supplier continuous improvement roadmap by partnering to conceptualizing opportunities and drives improvement of key functional metrics and reductions in operating costs in partnership with business or function
Facilitating the negotiation and implementation of all global, country or regional contracts with new and existing suppliers to mitigate risk, establish favorable commercial terms and maximize savings opportunities in support of the category strategy
Developing and integrate best practices across the enterprise, ensuring the best use of effective standardized supply chain tools, techniques, systems and processes in duties and tasks. (e.g. RF(x), SOW’s, evaluation scorecard, etc
Creating and establishing internal/external benchmark analysis, including gap analysis, and required actions to achieve category functional advantage
Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with a supply chain or business discipline or Information Technology (relevant work experience in procurement may be an adequate substitute for formal education)
Minimum of eight (8) years’ strategic procurement experience
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc
Deep knowledge in leading a global category sourcing strategy
Demonstrated experience and ability to negotiate complex contracts
Demonstrated communication, influencing and change management skills
Successful track record demonstrated by working in progressively challenging roles in sourcing, negotiations, category management and vendor management.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups of people in a global, matrix organization
Demonstrated skills in critical thinking, problem solving, and data analytics
Demonstrated ability to clearly establish expectations, fairly address performance issues and hold suppliers accountable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to:
Build and leverage relationships and networks across the enterprise
Use personal influence skills rather than position or power to persuade others and gain support
Develop and execute strategic plans and successfully manage multiple priorities
Travel 10-15% domestically and internationally
Desired Job Qualifications:
MBA or master’s degree in Supply Chain or Information Technology
CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, CPM, SPSM or similar certifications
Experience with:
Reviewing and negotiating complex IT agreement, ex. software license agreements, professional services
Formal sourcing methodologies
Using e-sourcing tools to execute and manage sourcing projects
Deep knowledge in leading a global IT category sourcing strategy
Demonstrated broad IT category experience including but not limited to Hardware, Infrastructure, Software, Telecom, Networking, Cloud, Managed Services, Professional Services, etc.
