Job Summary:
The company specializes in thermoplastic products for the Broadband, Power, and Telephone industry sectors. The Rockwall facility will operate as added capacity, supplementing production of the headquarters facility in California.
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to manage the new Rockwall facility. This General Manager will be in charge of all processes except the sales and marketing functions, which will be handled in Temecula.
The role of General Manager will be a key member of the senior management team of the company and will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The General Manager would have to lead the diverse business operations, therefore would be expected to be an experienced and efficient leader, with excellent interpersonal skills, business acumen, and exemplary work ethic. The goal of the General Manager position will be to secure the functionality of the business and drive extensive, profitable, and sustainable growth. The candidate must have senior management presentation skills and will routinely present to the President and at times to the Board of Directors.

This person will be in charge of everything but Sales and Marketing
Must have manufacturing background
Looking for someone in the mid 40’s
Will relocate
Someone with an automotive manufacturing background
Job Duties:
? Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures
? Oversee management of product development projects
? Lead in setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth
? Establish policies that create a great company culture and vision
? Lead the team in overseeing daily operations of the company and work of executives (Manufacturing, Comptroller, Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Quality Assurance, Human Resources and Recruitment)
? Recruit and develop the leadership team so as to encourage maximum performance and dedication
? Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
? Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
? Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances)
? Manage relationships with partners and vendors
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
? Engineering degree (beneficial)
? MBA degree
? Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer in an industrial setting
? Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
? Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
? Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
? Aptitude in decision-making and problem solving
? Possess the ability to communicate and relate effectively with all levels of the organization and customers
Additional Highly Desirable Skills:
? Understanding of robotic and automation engineering
? The candidate must be actively engaged in the plant floor, as well as the executive offices to ensure that the Company’s plans and goals are being met.
? Experience with thermoplastic manufacturing is desirable
? Plant expansion and recruitment skills are also required for this position for future growth expectations.
