Job Description:
Looking to fill a GIS position that will support the state''s enterprise GIS=
infrastructure. This position involves the understanding of GIS data mana=
gement concepts and publishing map services. It also requires the developm=
ent of technical documentation.
This position is responsible for providing geospatial data support, softwar=
e administration, and configuration management for enterprise geospatial to=
ols and applications in support of agency specific and enterprise applicati=
ons. Activities include monitoring of GIS environment, map services, suppo=
rt of geospatial software and tools. This position is responsible for desi=
gning, creating, testing, and implementing map services in support of agenc=
y and enterprise wide applications and services. This individual will work=
in coordination with Data Architects and the Database Administrator to cre=
ate, test, and integrate agency specific and statewide data into the Enterp=
rise Spatial Data Warehouse.
