Multiple GIS Developer Positions - California (San Diego, Los Angeles, Walnut Creek), Columbus, OH, Long Island, NY
Responsibilities:
Developer should utilize industry best practices for upgrading, identifying, designing, developing, and deploying .Net/ArcGIS Server Web GIS Solutions to satisfy enterprise needs
Develop Web GIS Solutions and Create Map services and publish GIS applications using JavaScript API, REST, DOJO, JASON, HTML, CSS
Design, Develop, implement and support desktop based tools using ArcObjects, Python
Upgrade, Customize/develop ArcGIS Server/ArcFM (Electric/Gas/Water Utility) applications and tools
Experience and knowledgeable of understanding of work management business application• Collaboration with technical and subject matter experts to gain an understanding of requirements/design and provide input from a software development perspective
Troubleshooting ArcSDE for connectivity, access, performance and other issues
Support versioning, compression, replication and Indexes
Work with the Oracle DBA to design and configure the database
Create technical and functional design documents
Supporting Esri extensions and workflows
Report issues in HP Quality Center, Status and communicate risks to stakeholders
Good communication and interpersonal skills for consulting with users to understand needs, define requirements, and provide effective solutions
Ability to work both as a team member, and independently on complex tasks, to maintain project timelines deliver on commitments
Qualifications:
BA/BS in Computer Science, Geography, Engineering or equivalent
2+ years of experience in .Net, SharePoint,
2+ years of experience in ArcGIS Server (JavaScript API, REST, DOJO, JASON), ArcGIS Desktop (ArcObjects), Python
Preferred to have experience in ArcFM (Desktop and Server), Feeder Manager, ArcFM Designer
3 year of experience in ArcSDE
