Job Summary:
Automotive Functional Safety Engineer job to perform safety lifecycle activities as per ISO-26262
Responsibilities:
Prepare Item Definition document with primary functions list and item block diagram
Perform Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA) using Medini Analyze tool
Define Safety Goals and Functional Safety Requirements (FSR)
Perform safety analysis (DFMEA and FTA) using Medini Analyze tool and derive the technical safety requirements
Review the requirements with system, hardware, software control and supplier
Define and maintain organization specific Functional Safety Process consistent with ISO-26262 functional safety standard
Define and maintain the work instruction to perform HARA, DFMEA and FTA using Medini Analyze tool
Provide consultancy and training on organization specific Functional Safety Process and ISO-26262 functional safety standard
Provide consultancy and training to perform HARA, DFMEA and FTA using Medini Analyze tool
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor in engineering
2+ years in Automotive Functional Safety
Automotive Powertrain domain experience
Safety analysis experience (HARA, DFMEA and FTA)
ALM tool usage
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in ISO-26262 standard
5+ years of experience in automotive domain
Medini Analyze tool usage experience
