Job Summary :
The SAP SD Functional Project Specialist includes being part in the blueprint of a SAP S4/HANA implementation, creation of proof of concepts, functional specs, configuration, test scripts and go-live support. This is a business analyst and systems configuration role. Under a technical lead supervision, contribute to the development of new applications used in the Sales and planning departments. The right candidate for this job has the ability to work with SAP Functional team and eventually business people in gathering requirements, designing, unit testing, support integration and user acceptance testing, support post install .
Essential Job Functions:
Configure, write functional specification, test, train end user and troubleshoot enhancement to the base system
Document business process and technical design.
Complete unit testing system changes before production loads.
Coordinate testing and document results.
Assist in the evaluation and selection of the best solution from many possible alternatives, to handle various business needs as they arise.
Assist in the coordination of the adoption of new business procedures resulting from system improvements, through the development of documentation, training, and communication plans.
Interact with business end-users in all phases of support activities.
Adhere to Arcelor Mittal standards for software development and change management
Work closely with the business and other teams.
Requirements :
Expert in IDOC enhancements
5+ years experience in a related field
Working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Knowledge of discrete industry and manufacture environment.
Ability to work with SAP Functional team and eventually business people in gathering requirements, designing, unit testing, support integration and user acceptance testing, support post install
Have participated in 3 full life cycle implementations (from blueprint to go-live)
SAP Fiori
ABAP debugging skills
SAP S4/HANA SD, including, but not limited to: Sales document flow , automotive processes in SD (scheduling agreements with release orders), JIT, EDI, BOP) ,Variant Configuration
Expert knowledge of RFC’s(Request for Comments), BAPI’s, (Business Application Programming Interface)BADI’s(business add Inns ), BDC’s, (Business Development Company)
Strong knowledge of outbound/inbound ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming, ) interfaces using IDOCs, (Intermediate Document BAPIs, RFCs ( Remote Function Call ) to/from Middleware and flat files
Preferred :
Middleware experience. IBM Websphere is a plus.
MM and PP experience is a plus
APICS CPIM or CSCP is a plus .
SAP HANA 1610 on premise experience is a plus .
