Position : Cisco Voice Engineers.
Location : Louisville, KY
Type of hire : Fulltime

Responsibilities:
Designing small, medium, and large voice, data, and wireless network infrastructure solutions. Implementing designed infrastructure solutions. Troubleshooting and Tier II/III support for customer Call Manager Applications Troubleshooting and Tier II/III support for customer networks Provide capacity planning recommendations. Some Tier I support will be required until a junior engineer position is filled
Education and Experience - Required:
BS/BA preferred or equivalent years of experience 6-8 years of relevant IT work experience Cisco Certified Network Professional – Collaboration (CCNP Voice/Collaboration) *Candidates who do not currently possess a CCNP Collaboration certification but have passed half of the required exams may be considered for this position. If selected, the candidate will be required to obtain the certification within a six (6) month time period. The salary range will be adjusted if the candidate does not possess the certification and will be reassessed when it has been obtained.
Qualifications/Experience – Preferred:
Candidate is not expected to be knowledgeable in all technology areas listed above, we are currently seeking candidates to fill different roles. Any and/or all of the preferred qualifications are desired.
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP Route/Switch, CCNP-Wireless, CCNP-Security)
Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) Knowledge of Cisco SRND/SAFE and industry best practices
Knowledge of Unix/Linux and other open source software including BIND, ISC DHCP, and Nessus
Knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange and/or SQL
Familiarity with server and desktop virtualization (i.e. VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware Horizon View, Citrix XenDesktop)
Experience with:
o Cisco Unified Communications Manager 9.x+
o Cisco Unity Connection 9.x+
o Cisco Contact Center Express 9.x+
o Cisco Emergency Responder Knowledge of TDM and analog voice technologies (ISDN PRI, T1 CAS, etc)
Extensive experience with Cisco Unified Access Wireless technologies (LWAPP, CAPWAP, WLC, Cisco Prime Infrastructure)
Experience with Cisco Enterprise Switching/Routing platforms (Nexus 2K/5K/7K, Catalyst 6500/4500, Cisco ISR G1/G2, Cisco ASR 1K, Cisco Nexus 1Kv)
Extensive experience with Cisco Firewall products (Cisco ASA/ASA-X/CX, IPS, AnyConnect, IPSec VPN Experience with Cisco Sourcefire IPS
Advanced routing experience with EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP on multiple Cisco IOS software (IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS)
Other Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, F5 product sales/technical certifications
