FULL STACK Developer – NODE & AWS
At ConnectiveRx we simplify how people get and stay on medications by providing information, savings and access. Formed in 2015 with a merger between PSKW and PDR bring industry leadership from pharma services, e-prescribing network services, retail pharmacy and commercial payers to deliver healthcare affordability and adherence solutions excellence. We work with over 150 pharmaceutical manufacturers and serve hundreds of brands at all stages of the product lifecycle.
We are looking to hire a seasoned Applications Developer who will work on and design web applications, client applications, web services, ETL, reporting and other related responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have strong software development experience, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to translate business needs into software features. As a member of the development team, the candidate''s time will be spent working with software architecture, business analysts, quality assurance, infrastructure and other team members to ensure software platforms and features are properly architected, code is developed, tested, released to production, and proper production support is provided for existent and new products.
Essential Functions
o Participate and contribute in the full project life cycle, including gathering requirements, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support of applications.
o Operate as a full-stack developer and able to be successful diverging outside of your comfort level.
o Follow standard software development methodologies and SDLC practices to produce high quality applications in an efficient manner.
o Participate in estimating assigned work effort and be accountable for completion dates
o Document code so other engineer can reuse and support components in the future.
o As needed, help and mentor more junior developers on implementation
o Troubleshoot critical production issues if needed
o Production release management and support as-needed.
o Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Knowledge
Client facing application development experience
Strong programming experience with the above languages and willingness to learn and apply new languages as needed
Strong design pattern knowledge
Relational and Non-Relational database experience desired.
Skills
Experience working with and/or creating CI/CD pipelines. VSTS preferred, but not required.
Database experience writing and debugging SQL, stored procedures and triggers.
Candidate must be able to contribute in all layers of technical design, development, testing, implementation, and support
Experience developing, and supporting large-scale, complex platforms/applications
AWS experience desired, but not required. Other cloud experience acceptable.
Education
College degree or related equivalent experience preferred.
Experience
3+ years'' experience working with Node.js, C#, Javascript, Css, HTML and other scripting languages.
Core Competencies
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work within an Agile team environment
