Full Time Job - Network Security Analyst - Farmington Hills, Detroit, MI
Job Description:
The Network Security Analyst is responsible for the administration and support of technology solutions supporting operational security requirements for the organization.
Responsibilities and Objectives:
Administer security technologies as a member of the Network Security team
Implement new security technologies as business requirements dictate
Be a member of the team responsible for:
o Managing URL filtering services
o Administering endpoint security services for servers
o Supporting an internal Certificate Authority infrastructure using Active Directory Certificate Services
o Administering Network Access Control infrastructure and policies
o Supporting TACACS/RADIUS
Analyze and understand security threats and assist with incident investigations and remediation
Work with vendors, submitting requests and ensuring requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner
Periodically create and update Network Security documentation, such as Visio diagrams, procedures and presentations
Provide on-call support for Network Security technologies
Technical Skills and Experience Requirements:
2-4 years related experience deploying infrastructure technologies such as servers, networks and endpoint security
2+ years experience administrating security technologies
Knowledge of Cyber Security concepts, such as access controls, network security, operations security, threats and vulnerabilities
Knowledge of TCP/IP
Experience with Wireshark, Fiddler or similar analysis tools
Familiar with conducting network and operating system risk and vulnerability assessments
Education and Interpersonal Skill Requirements:
BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems preferred
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification preferred
Strong oral and written communications skills
Strong potential for growth and acceptance of additional responsibilities
Ability to work as a member of a team and independently
