3-5 years of experience in Devops.
Expertise in development methodologies and programming languages (e.g. bash, Java, Perl, Python)
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMWare, Xen, KVM)
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
Understanding of operations processes and system administration (e.g. Linux, Unix)
Understanding of network protocols and client-server communication
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate the benefits of automated operations processes to both development and operations teams
Ability to lead technical teams through the design and implementation of automation
Ability to analyze problems to drive to efficient and cost-effective solutions
Familiarity with lean software development, agile development, kanban, TQM
